Local Resources

Friends in Time and other local groups provide support groups for people with MS and ALS and their caregivers.

Local accessible transportation ABQ Ride:

ABQRide is the local mass transit system in which all fixed route buses are equiped with wheelchair lifts. There is also access through certification on SunVan of ABQ Ride(Curb to curb transportation for persons with disabilities not able to use regular buses with a wheelchair lift by themselves).

Jewish Family Services accessible transportation:

For persons 60+ years old there is transportation for most of the NE area of Albuquerque.  Registration is required.
